Agios Nikitas

Agios Nikitas is a small fishing village, located 12 kilometers west of the capital Lefkada. It has a beautiful little pebble beach, excellent tavernas and cafes right on the coast.

It is still dominated by old stone houses, several taverns, shops, a couple of bars, a pastry shop and only a few small family hotels. Due to the proximity of this small town to some of the most beautiful beaches on the west coast (Egremni, Kathisma, etc.) and the capital, the small town has recently been extremely visited.

There is a daily boat from Agios Nikitas that takes you to Milos Beach, one of the most beautiful on Lefkada, and you can also reach the beach by boat, in about 20 minutes of walking. There is a path that leads to the beach, starting from the Poseidon Tavern. You just need to follow the signpost and be ready to climb a little more and eventually descend. Your efforts will certainly pay off, as you will be rewarded with a beautiful, pebbly and natural beach. The sunset from here is unforgettable and spectacular.

If you come here during the season, arm yourself with patience, it can be quite crowded.
