Agios Thomas, Kephalonia

Agios Thomas beach is located 15 km from Argostoli and close to the village of Karavados in the south of Kefalonia.

It got its name from the small church of the same name, which is located in the immediate vicinity. There are actually two beaches here; the first beach is a small sandy beach with stairs leading to it, with a picturesque tavern, and the long beach is larger, surrounded by rocks and a stone approach to the water, which is excellent for diving. Above them is a snack bar where you can have a drink and enjoy the view of the sea.

On the beach there are equipped benches, a shower, and a changing room for changing. There are no sunbeds and umbrellas for rent, and no natural shade, so you have to arrange it yourself if you want to spend most of the day on the beach. A small parking lot is available. Both beaches are surrounded by rocks and greenery. The water is extremely clean and clear. There are a couple of private villas in the area. Due to the large number of rock formations around the beach, it is ideal for diving.
