Fava beach

Fava beach
Crystal clear sea is the main characteristic of Sithonia. Without too much crowd and noise, you will enjoy every day of your vacation at this Greek pearl. Sithonia is perfect for tourists who like an active vacation. Sithonia is located at the crossroads of Halkidiki. Considering the geographical position, Thessaloniki, Kassandra and Athos are accessible from Sithonia.

Fava beach consists of 6 bays. It is located south of Vourvourou. You will reach it by going straight from the turn for Karidi beach and driving until you come across a settlement in a pine forest with large family villas. At the intersection, continue straight, and after 50m to 100m the road forks and you go right to the coast. You will reach a settlement called Fava. The beach is usually visited only by locals and our tourists, so it is usually not crowded.
There are no landmarks to this beach. The beach can be reached by car in about 50m and there is a small parking lot.

Fava beach is very close to Karidi beach, but unlike it, it does not have a long shallow, but the depth is reached quickly and is suitable for swimmers, but not for fans of frolicking in the shallows. Unlike Caridi, which always has calm water, Fava often has waves. The coast is sandy, while the seabed is covered with small pebbles. After that is fine sand.

Fava is a well-kept secret of the locals of Vourvourou, where they get away from the crowds and enjoy the beauty of their sea and nature. In the hinterland of the beach there are beautiful and luxurious villas of rich Greeks, mostly from Thessaloniki.

The beach is not organized, there are no sunbeds, umbrellas or bars, so you need to bring your equipment, as well as food and water. If you want to swim, enjoy a beautiful beach, without crowds, music and crowded deckchairs, this is the right place for you. Given the hinterland and attractive rocks, there is plenty of shade on the beach in the afternoon.

Our recommendation is that you definitely visit Fava beach and truly enjoy the unreal nature and the sea. Ambjent na Favi seems like a tropical area, where picturesque and unusual rocks provide unusual landscapes. The only complaint is that the water sometimes gets cloudy in the afternoon, which is a big problem for the entire east coast of Sithonia.

Surrounded by bays of the Aegean Sea, this peninsula is quite different from the rest of Halkidiki due to its rugged coastline. In Sithonia, you will find the most beautiful bays, rocky and isolated beaches, hidden places, untouched nature… All that makes a true marine wilderness. The villages that are in the immediate vicinity of the coasts will enchant you with their scenery.
