Neos Marmaras
Neos Marmaras is undoubtedly the most popular resort of our tourists in Sithonia. It is located about 110 km from Thessaloniki. It extends over 3 hills, and has very steep streets, so the movement around the town is uphill and downhill.
Gradić has a port in the center of the city, while the beaches are on the sides at the exits from the center. The beaches are quite small, given the large number of tourists, and can be very crowded. The main beach is at the exit towards the south and is very narrow and stretches all the way to the Hotel Porto Karas. One of the most beautiful beaches in Neos Marmaros is Paradiso beach. The largest number of tourists who stayed in Neos Marmaras go to Lagomandra beach, which is located 5 km north of the city. The beach has a thick pine forest, so you can spend the whole day in the shade. On the beach itself there are shops, bars, cafes, a restaurant with gyros, showers and a changing room. The beach is ideal for families with small children and for all those who like to lie in the shade with the breeze. You can spend your summer at Lagomandra beach, in several hotels, as well as in a large number of private apartments.
