Xenia beach

Xenia beach

Xenia is one of the most visited beaches on Kassandra, located near Paliouri, about 13 km from Chanioti. Many people call this beach both Paliouri and Hrusso. The beach is ideal for families with small children due to its wide shallow water belt.

Xenia beach has a fine golden sand and is about 3 km long and is very popular with our tourists. Boats often arrive here because Xenia Beach is a mandatory stop on every cruise to Toroneos Bay.

Xenia beach has very clean water, and the greenery of the trees and the blue of the sea create a relaxing and extremely pleasant environment. Perhaps the best right of the beach is the pier, where many boats land, because of the fine sand and clear water. Plus, there is a very long shoal, so it’s the perfect place for families with kids. During the working week the beach is not much visited, but it should be avoided on weekends when a large number of Greeks come from the area. If you take the car from Pefcochori, it is best to take the turn for Chrousso Village and the asphalt road to the earthen parking behind the cafe.

Xenia has umbrellas with loungers from cafes and bars located on the beach (Koursaros Beach Bar, Cafe Blue Fish) and from which loud music is heard, so you will see mostly younger visitors in front of them. There is also the possibility of renting canoes and pedal boats and other water sports. The beach has lifeguards, showers, toilets and changing rooms.
