Nea Plagia

Nea Plagia

Nea Plagia is still an undiscovered place for our tourists, located at the entrance to the Kassandra Peninsula and is about 55 km away from Thessaloniki. This place is a favorite of the Greeks themselves and has beautiful sunsets and a 4 km long sandy beach with a large promenade.

Near Nea Plagia and the village of Flogita are the ruins of a 17th-century building belonging to the Monastery of Saint Panteleimon. This building once housed an American hospital housing hundreds of refugees, whose descendants now live nearby.

The beach in Nea Plagia is well maintained. There are plenty of bars, taverns, and restaurants along the coast where you can rent deck chairs with umbrellas. There is also a rich offer of various water sports.

There is an amusement amusement park for children in Nea Plagia located right on the beach.
