Nea Potidea – Beach

Nea Potidea has a long sandy beach with deck chairs and parasols for rent. There are plenty of cafes and tavernas on the beach as well as a large selection of water sports.
The northern part of the beach (which is closer to the channel) is full of bars and taverns, with the possibility of renting sun beds and parasols. The southern part of the beach is visited by a small number of tourists, and most often you can meet the locals.
The beach is suitable for families with young children because the water is shallow and warm.
There are several smaller bays on the west side of the city, which are especially interesting because of the beautiful sunsets. There is also a magnificent view of Mount Olympus. The rather narrow beach is predominantly pebbly and sandy and offers visitors the opportunity to swim along the walls, which extend from the sea.
