Mitari beach, Sithonia
Just 8km from Neos Marmaras, or 12km from Nikiti, there is a Mitari campsite that extends to a well-organized 30,000 m2. 1.4km after the Lagomandra Golden Beach Hotels Complex, turning on the highway towards Nikiti, you will find a left turn that leads to the Mitari campsite and the beach of the same name.
It is about 100 m long and sandy, though the sand is slightly larger. The water, of course, as in all of Sithonia, is very clear and clear. From the beach facilities there is a bar, restaurant, toilets, showers.
Mitari beach is a cute little bay on the coast of Elia. The beach is inside the Mitari campsite. To use this beach you have to go through the gates of the campsite, which takes care of deck chairs and parasols, and the palm trees that visually separate the beach from the rest of the campsite. Just before the camp ramp there is a parking lot for the guests, and the camp also has a large beach terrace overlooking the sea with an incredible view.
The first step is fascinating with the cleanliness and cleanliness of the camp, the beautiful stone-lined paths that lead to all sides, lots of trees, flowers and greenery. We walk past the facility where the toilets are, spotlessly clean with tokens on showers. A few more masonry buildings, then a series of caravans on nicely landscaped lots. Awnings are placed in front of each of the most luxurious trailers, which cover unusually strong amenities that guests arrange themselves. At Camp Mitari, it is quite common to see large refrigerators with freezers, microwave ovens, LCD TVs, water coolers … Of course everything in the colors of the campsite seating and hammock is mostly branded. Here come the extremely wealthy Greeks who spend their weekend or part of their vacation in this nature reserve but also a luxury compared to the camps seen so far.
The beach looks south, so it’s been sunny all day. The sand is large and the seabed is mostly sandy, but there are some rocks. The water is very clear. Although the bay is obscured on both sides, sometimes there can be some waves.
There is a restaurant on the hill next to the beach and next to it is a cafe with a bar and views of the beach, the sea and the island of Kelifos. On the side, a driveway for launching boats and a rocky beach have been refined for safe use.
