Potistika beach is located in the southeast of Pelion and is 53 km from the town of Volos. It belongs to the municipality of Xinovrisi, from which the village of the same name is 3 km away, while the nearest larger town is Argalasti, 7 km away, where there is a medical center and a pharmacy. The road to Potistika is good, it leads to the beach itself, where there is an organized parking lot.
Potistika is one of the most beautiful beaches of Pelion. This is a natural paradise, with crystal clear sea water and perfect golden sand. The beach is huge and is divided into two parts by huge and attractive rocks. The second part of the beach, which is isolated, is intended for nudists. In the pictures you can see both beaches, which are separated by a small hill, easy to cross. It happens that there is no one on the nudist beach, so we suggest you visit that part as well. In some parts, there are a lot of stones and gravel at the entrance to the water, although most of the beach is fine sand. Waves are also a frequent occurrence on the beach, which is the biggest problem of all the beaches on the east coast of Pelion.
Fascinated by the beauty of the beach (and not knowing about the nudist part of the beach), we wandered right there, with all cameras and cameras. Only a few meters from the group of nudists did we realize where we were and headed back as quickly as possible. 🙂
