Labidonas beach
This small beautiful beach is located on the east coast of Pelion, close to Limnionas beach. The road to the beach is paved, and above the beach is the village of Labinou.

There is a local road between Limnionas and Labidonas beach, which we do not recommend. It is best to return to the main highway up the hill towards Tsagarada and follow the official signpost. You have about 4 km from the main road to the beach. There is a parking lot where you can leave your car 100 meters from the beach itself.

When you arrive at the beach, you will see a local cafe, next to which stone steps lead straight to the beach. The beach itself is pebbly, surrounded by rocks and stones. It is a natural bay with a lot of greenery. The water is crystal clear and clear. There is an attractive cave on the beach, which provides shade. In the past, Mediterranean seals hid in various rock cavities, of which there are many here. Today, they are a rare occurrence here.

Labidonas beach is recommended for diving because of its rocky bottom and many interesting rock formations and rocks. You can rent sunbeds with umbrellas from the cafe on the beach. There is also a shower with cold water on the beach. The beach is recommended for everyone who likes a quiet and relaxing vacation without the crowds.
Near the beach is the Panagias Labidonas monastery (dedicated to the Virgin), which is beautifully painted. A local story related to the monastery says that a pirate ship sailed here and got into a big storm. The captain panicked and begged the Virgin for help. A light appeared from the beach and the ship was able to anchor safely. Out of gratitude, the captain built a monastery of the same name.
