Pelion – tourist train

Pilion – tourist train is a big attraction. The train departs from Ano Lehonia (Volos) to Milies.

During the season, it runs every day from 10 a.m., and during other months only on weekends at 11 a.m. In this unique train, you will pass through a series of interesting bridges, tunnels, and enjoy the beautiful panorama of Mount Pelion.
From the top of the mountain there is a spectacular view of Pagasitikos Bay. The width of the tracks is only 60 cm, and the railway is considered one of the narrowest in the world. The train travels at a speed of 20 km per hour, where it covers a distance of 15 km with a total duration of 90 minutes.

The departure is at 10 a.m. from Ano Lehonia and at 3 p.m. from Milies. There is a station in Ano Gatzea in both directions. The price of a return ticket for adults is 18 EUR and for children (4-12 years) is 10 EUR. The price of a one-way ticket is 10 EUR and EUR 6.
