Melani beach

Melani beach is located in the east of Pelion, east of the village of Argalasti. When you get to the Agralasti-Xinovrisi intersection, you have another 10 km directly to the beach itself. From this beach, you can also reach Paltsi beach, which is 5 km away. Next to the beach is a large dusty parking lot, which is not arranged.

Melani is a long sandy beach, with a lot of stones and rocks. A group of rocks divides the beach into two beaches. One is exactly Melani beach, and the other is Potistika, which you can walk to. The beach got its name from the blue cobalt color (in Greek melano) and crystal clear water. Due to the abundance of rocks and rocky bottom, the beach is ideal for diving.

Melani beach is not organized, there is no organized content on the beach itself, so you have to take everything with you. There are no shops, except for a tavern that offers excellent seafood. In the summer months, the beach is frequented by wild campers. Extremely clean water, beautiful sea color, golden sand and very attractive rocks make this beach one of the most beautiful on Pelion. The beach is never crowded.

Melani is a very spacious and long beach with extremely clean water. Due to the rocks and rocky bottom, it is not suitable for small children. It is ideal for everyone who wants to enjoy untouched nature and for lovers of diving. The surroundings of the beach are suitable for trekking and hiking. Melanie is not a well-groomed beach. Due to the fact that it is not organized and often visited, this beautiful beach is crowded with wild campers. If you have a trailer or a tent, this beach is ideally secluded, beautiful and easily accessible – ideal for camping.
