There are many famous islands around Greece, and one of them is the island of Evia, ideal for your holiday all year round, especially in summer.
Evia is the second largest island in Greece and is full of scenery for your perfect holiday. The village of Agios Georgios, located in the northwestern part of the island of Evia, provides visitors with the perfect setting for an ideal vacation. Agios Georgios is a small town on the island of Evia, from where the ferry to Agios Konstantinos (near Kamena Vourla) departs.
You can go on several excursions from Agios Georgios. For starters, you can visit Lichadonisia or as they are popularly called “Seychelles of Greece”, a beautiful archipelago of small islands that can be reached by boat from the port, and after visiting the small islands the boat leaves you on the private beach of Lichadonisia. Another extremely interesting excursion is to the island of Skiathos, known for its numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and beaches, where you can spend an unforgettable day.

Getting to the Island of Evia is very simple, from the direction of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, you take the Thessaloniki-Athens highway, and after 250 km you arrive at the port town of Glifa, from where you can take a ferry to Agiocampos.
