Chorto, Pelion
The town of Chorto is located in Pagasitikos Bay, on the southwestern side of the Pelion Peninsula, at a distance of 47 km from the city of Volos. In the village of Chorto itself, there are several minimarkets and supermarkets, as well as restaurants. Also, 2 kilometers from the center of the village is the village of Melia, where there are several restaurants and night clubs. It is connected to the neighboring towns of Milina and Argalasti.
The horto is surrounded by olive groves that stretch all the way to the sea. It also houses the Agelini Museum, which has a rich collection of household items, old tools, books, decorative items…
Chorto has beautiful sandy and pebbly beaches that are ideal for swimming. The water is extremely clean and warm, during July and August. Hotel Leda is a favorite of our tourists, which we recommend for family vacations.
