Kathisma beach (also pronounced Katisma and Katishma) is a top beach and also one of the most beautiful on the island. The beach has a blue flag. It is very popular because of its affordability.
You can go all the way down to it by car, because there is a parking lot right next to the coast. It is very organized, with a lot of content. Here there are cafes, taverns, and even a swimming pool… This is one of the few beaches that has showers. Sunbeds and umbrellas cost around 5-7 euros, and in the off-season the price is slightly more favorable. There is also a regular bus service to the beach from Lefkada town.
Many say that Katizma has the most beautiful blue turquoise color of the sea in Lefkada. The beach is sandy, with small pebbles. The beach is long and has rocks on the sides. The sunset is fantastic from Katisma.
