Kavos beach

Kavos beach
Kavos beach is located on the northernmost part of the island of Evia. It is mostly sandy, although there is also a part of small pebbles, it is very long and well organized for tourism. On the beach you will find umbrellas, beach bars, toilets.

It is especially interesting on this beach to see the trees that grow directly on the beach, so if you arrive on time, you can catch the natural shade, which is the most ideal. The closest seaside village to the beach is Agios Georgios.

This beach is a real natural pearl and gathers an impressive number of tourists during the season. It is also visited by the local population, who, as they say, likes to always return to a beautiful place, and our tourists are particularly impressed.

Certainly, Kavos beach is one of those that will remain in your fondest memories.

This is the beach where we found a huge number of shells, and we emphasize that the beach is very long, so it may not be crowded.

EVIA
After two full decades of vacationing in Greece, it is an increasing challenge for our tourists to find a new corner and see something new. A still little-explored gem of the Aegean Sea, Evia is the second largest Greek island! The biggest after Crete. At Halkida, the gateway to Evia, there is a drawbridge – which spans the strait, Euripus, which here is only 38 meters wide. It is assumed that Evia was pushed away from the mainland by some ancient, strong earthquake, as is usually the case with islands close to the mainland.

Evia, according to ancient Greek stories from history, is also known as Euboea, which probably comes from the incorrect reading (i.e. reading according to Vuk) of the name written in Greek (Ευβοίας).

The easiest way to find the island is if, after turning for Volos and Larissa, you reach the junction for Glifa – from where you take the ferry to Agiocampos, i.e. directly to Evie. Of course, you can continue on the highway to Halkida and thus avoid using the ferry, but this only makes sense if you are spending your summer in the southern part of Evia. By the way, Evia is very well connected with the mainland by ferry lines and there are as many as 8 different lines – from different places on the mainland – that bring passengers to this island.
