Mourtitsa beach

Location: cafe bar Carlas (south Pelion)

A dirt road leads to the beaches of Mouritsa. You should follow the signpost for the Carlas cafe located on the beach.
You have to walk to the beach itself, and there are stone steps that lead directly to it. Look at our pictures, you can see the main road and the sign for Cafe Carlas. When you turn, you will come across a parking lot, and from there the road leads to a metal gate, past which you will come to the steep stairs that lead to the beach. It is not difficult to get down, especially if you know that the beach will not be crowded, and the beach is excellent.

The beach is pebbly, with lots of attractive rocks and formations. Diving is ideal. The water is crystal green and clean. There are no amenities on the beach, except for a cafe where you can cool off. There are also several moored boats, and a private house. Even in the height of the season, this beach is never crowded. You will see in the pictures a hose from which drinking water comes out.
There is no natural shade on Mourtitsa beach.
