Nea Fokea – Beach
The beach is sandy with crystal clear water, and there is a possibility of renting deck chairs with parasols. From the beach you can enjoy the view of the old Byzantine tower, 17 meters high. The tower was built in the early 15th century and is located on a small promontory on the south side of the beach.
There is a nice promenade along the coast, where you can walk and choose from some of the nearby bars, restaurants, cafes or tavernas.
In addition to the main beach, there are other smaller ones, with crystal clear water, which are suitable for tourists who like peace and quiet. The beaches on the north side of the village are buried in the hills, which shield them from the wind and sun. The Skouras Children’s Sports Camp, one of the best sports camps in Greece, is also located about 2 kilometers from the village.
