Paltsi beach

Paltsi beach

Location: a large bay on southern Pelion in the town of Paltsi, 13 km from the town of Argalasti, 53 km from the town of Volos. It is also known as Ag. Konstantinos beach.
Paltsi beach, also called Agios Konstantinos, has golden sand mixed with pebbles. The beach has lush vegetation and attracts a large number of visitors who enjoy the endless, turquoise sea.

Paltsi beach is actually a large bay, and unlike other beaches in the south, it is protected from the north-easterly winds, which are a frequent occurrence here. There are also many attractive rocks and stones along the beach, where you can isolate yourself. A slightly larger rock formation divides the beach into two parts, one smaller part with wonderful, soft sand and the other part which is much larger.
The beach is quite popular in August. In Paltsi itself, you can find accommodation for your vacation. The road from Argalasti to the beach itself is excellent, unlike some other beaches on Pilion. There are several fountains with drinking water, changing cabins and showers on the beach, which provides the opportunity to stay for many wild campers, which are abundant here.

In any case, if you are on Pelion, we recommend that you definitely visit the Paltsi beach – a beautiful sea, a large parking lot, a solid road, several restaurants and always fresh drinking water will provide you with a nice vacation.
