Poseidon beach, Sithonia
Just 50 meters from Stilidario Beach and the famous beach bar, this beautiful cove with Poseidon Beach extends. The bay is long, sandy and wide. The left part of the beach, there are deck chairs and parasols that belong to the hotel and you can use them if you are not guests for an extra charge. This part of the beach is the only one that has a sandy bottom. What should be noted is that they are mostly stone slabs in the water. Magical atmosphere is certainly provided by palm leaf or cane umbrellas, showers, and in addition, the hinterland of the beach is shaded by large pine trees whose canopy shades over a good part of the beach.
Our tourists prefer to go to the unorganized part of the beach, which is much larger than the landscaped and has plenty of natural shade as well as space for setting up its umbrella and towels.
Parking is in the shade all day long, which is very important to mention. Sometimes it can be crowded in the season, so we recommend getting early if you plan to park in the shade.
About 2km from Poseidon Beach is a restaurant, and just a few meters away is a beach bar, housed in an old techno wagon. There is also an OTE phone nearby.
Poseidon Plaza is definitely a recommendation for lovers of isolated beaches. This part of the coast is also great for diving and snorkeling, as the waters in this part are rich in diverse marine life.
Our recommendation is to try the nearby Tonis Mix salad at a nearby tavern, which they kindly included in our standard offer on our proposal. We also recommend Mussels in Saganaki (clams in Saganaki sauce) and Grilled Kalamari (squid on grilled), with fish of course you drink Retzina Malamatina. Who doesn’t consume seafood has Souvlaki or some of the cooked meals on offer. In any case, if you bring food with you or buy some of the delicious specialties, you will enjoy a holiday on this Poseidon beach.
