Volos

The city of Volos is located at the foot of the Pelion peninsula in Thessaly and is the economic center of the Magnesia region.

It is also the capital of its region, with a population of around 71,000. The city is located along the highway Thessaloniki – Athens and is about 815 km from Belgrade. All ferry lines to Sporades depart from Volos
(the islands of Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos) and also the railway that connects it with Athens and Thessaloniki runs through the city.
